5-Spice Dry Rub Ribs
1/4 cup five-spice
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp. onion powder
2 tbsp. garlic powder
2 tsp. sea salt
2 racks baby back ribs
1. Preheat the oven to 325° F.
2. Dry rub: combine five-spice, brown sugar, onion powder, garlic powder, and sea salt. Use to coat ribs.
3. Arrange ribs on the Grill Pan. Cook in the oven for 1 1/2 hours or until tender.
4. Serve ribs with your favorite side dishes.
Eric’s Tip: Chinese five-spice is a blend of cinnamon, cloves, fennel, star anise, and Szechwan peppercorns. Some recipes might contain ginger or anise.
