Spicy Asian Beef Wraps
SERVES 2-4
Ingredients
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 lb. ground beef
11⁄2 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. hoisin sauce
1⁄2 cup water chestnuts, chopped
1 cup mushrooms, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
1/3 cup scallion, chopped
1⁄4 cup cilantro, chopped
1 tsp. toasted sesame oil
1 tsp. fresh ginger, minced
1 head Bibb lettuce
lime wedges, for garnish
julienned carrots, for garnish
bean sprouts, for garnish
Directions

Place the Copper Chef on medium-high heat. Add olive oil. Brown
ground beef for 5-8 minutes. Drain excess grease and set aside in a bowl. Add mushrooms, water chestnuts, scallions, garlic, and ginger. Sauté for 5-8 minutes. - Add ground beef, soy sauce, sesame oil, and hoisin sauce. Cook for an additional 5 minutes until all the liquid has been absorbed.
- Remove from heat. Toss in cilantro.
- Serve in Bibb lettuce cups. Garnish with lime wedges, julienned carrots, and bean sprouts.
Eric’s Tip: Be creative! Add more texture to your wraps with your favorite crunchy ingredients. I like using fried rice noodles or wontons.
