Spicy Asian Beef Wraps


1 tbsp. olive oil
1 lb. ground beef
11⁄2 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. hoisin sauce
1⁄2 cup water chestnuts, chopped
1 cup mushrooms, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
1/3 cup scallion, chopped
1⁄4 cup cilantro, chopped
1 tsp. toasted sesame oil
1 tsp. fresh ginger, minced
1 head Bibb lettuce
lime wedges, for garnish
julienned carrots, for garnish
bean sprouts, for garnish


  1. Place the Copper Chef on medium-high heat. Add olive oil. Brown
    ground beef for 5-8 minutes. Drain excess grease and set aside in a bowl. Add mushrooms, water chestnuts, scallions, garlic, and ginger. Sauté for 5-8 minutes.
  2. Add ground beef, soy sauce, sesame oil, and hoisin sauce. Cook for an additional 5 minutes until all the liquid has been absorbed.
  3. Remove from heat. Toss in cilantro.
  4. Serve in Bibb lettuce cups. Garnish with lime wedges, julienned carrots, and bean sprouts.

Eric’s Tip: Be creative! Add more texture to your wraps with your favorite crunchy ingredients. I like using fried rice noodles or wontons.
