TAKES 20 min. SERVES 4
Ingredients

1  large egg, lightly beaten
2  Tbsp. fat-free milk
1⁄2 cup soft bread crumbs
1 tsp. dried basil 
1⁄2 tsp.salt
1⁄4 tsp. pepper
1 lb. lean ground beef (90% lean)
 4 whole wheat ham burger buns, split
1⁄4  cup spinach dip
1⁄4  cup julienned soft sun-dried tomatoes (not packed in oil) Lettuce leaves

Directions

1. Slide the Grill Plate into Shelf Position 6. Turn the Function Dial to Grill, set the temperature to 350° and set the timer to 20 minutes. Let the grill preheat for 10 minutes.

2. Combine the first 6 ingredients. Add beef; mix lightly but thoroughly. Shape into four 1⁄2-in.-thick patties.

3. When the grill has preheated, place burgers on the Grill Plate. Cook until a thermometer reads 160°, 4-5 minutes per side. Grill buns, cut side down, until toasted. Serve burgers on buns; top with spinach dip, tomatoes and lettuce.

Eric's Tip: 
Make Your Own Ground Beef
Freeze 1 lb. chuck roast for 15 minutes. Cut the frozen meat into small cubes; place the cubes in a food processor. Pulse 20 to 22 times until the meat is coarsely ground.
